Church of Saint Anne
The Church of Santa Ana was likely built in the second half of the 16th century, in the Aragonese Gothic style, like other churches in the area. It has a Latin cross plan, with a two-bay nave, side chapels, and a rectangular apse, all covered by a pointed barrel vault. The intersection of the nave and transept is covered by a ribbed vault. At the foot of the nave is the choir, and below it we see the original entrance door, with a large voussoir arch and a coat of arms on the keystone. To the right, as you go outside, the old village cemetery is preserved.
The bell tower, which rises above the north chapel, is of four bays separated by imposts. The first two have barrel vaults that alternate the direction of the axis, and the third, wider and opened by the bell openings, is closed with a high and striking ribbed vault. It also has several arrow slits that indicate its defensive character. For many years the church was the social centre of Morillo. In 2006, consolidation work was carried out on the tower and the interior space was fitted out to house the Museum of Traditional Aragonese Pottery.
